Our practice treats all foot and ankle problems in infants, children, and adults. It is conveniently located in south Orange County in Ladera Ranch, CA across the street from Mission Hospital in MOB 1.

As the office administrator, Karen is responsible for the behind the scenes paperwork/contracts for the practice. She has worked in the field of podiatry for the last 10 years or so, and enjoys interacting with our patients and their families. When not working, she and husband enjoy traveling to visit their 5 children and spoiling their grandchildren.
Nicole works in the front office. She will likely be the person who greets you as you come in for your appointment. When she is not answering phones or spending time with our patients, she enjoys spending time with her children, and their dog Bleu. She also enjoys indulging in her hobbies, reading and researching her family history.
Office Manager / Medical Assistant / X-Ray Tech
For 13 years Courtney worked at Concentra Inc., as a Back Office MA and Specialty Coordinator. The many jobs that she did varied from Front Office, to Back Office, and running a specialty department. There, she was able to assist multiple surgeons and provide care to patients while seeing them through the whole treatment process.
Courtney joined the Southern California Foot & Ankle Specialists team in October 2019. As the Office Manager, Courtney is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice. She is very versatile. You may encounter her at the front desk, in the back office, or deal with her while getting your surgery set up. She will gladly assist with any of your needs.
Outside of the office, she is usually with family, or on the softball field (with family). She loves all aspects of the game, whether it’s watching, coaching, or playing it. Her greatest memories are on the field, and still are after 20+ years. She is a huge Angels fan and will always root for them win or lose. Off the field, she loves to spend time with family and hang out with her niece and nephews. She is also planning a wedding with her fiancé Eric for the near future.

Medical Assistant/Cast Technician/Surgery Scheduler/Workers Compensation Coordinator (Bilingual)
Carlos joined Southern California Foot & Ankle Specialists in December 2021. Carlos, comes into our office with 17 years of experience in the medical field. He plays a key role in providing care to our patients. He is head of our Workers Compensation Department. He is our Surgery Scheduler for all Insurances. You will find him as well taking medical histories, and vital signs, applying and removing casts, preparing patients for their examinations, and assisting the doctor during the examination as well as other front and back office clinical duties.
Outside of our office, Carlos is a father to Eric, Christian, and Matthew all three boys, and blessed to be married since 2004 to his wife Yuliana. Carlos loves to travel especially when it comes to going to his parent’s home town Villa Jimenez, Michoacán Mexico where he has a yearly tradition of participating in the town’s religious festivity in honor of St. Nicholas of Tolentine who is the town’s saint. He is a huge Dodgers fan, as well he is a fan of all 3 of his boys who are playing Baseball for Little League and High School. He feels blessed for life and for having his parents, wife, and boys as well to have been given the opportunity to work with SCFAS where he enjoys working with the patients and coworkers.
