Polysyndactyly

Polysyndactyly refers to the presence of more than five toes on a foot along with webbing connecting at least two of the toes. This condition tends to run in families and may occur in isolation or signal the presence of certain genetic diseases. The webbing typically consists of skin, and surgery may be required to both separate the toes and remove the additional toe.
